A role ends, a direction shifts, or the plan you've followed for years quietly runs out. Next Decade is where you work out what comes next: practical workshops, honest self-assessments, and people asking exactly the same questions.
A founding-member invitation. Free to join, no card required. The first 100 members get a full year free, even once membership becomes paid.
Everything lives in one calm, members-only space — think, try things, and talk them through with people asking the same questions.
Short, practical workshops — like What Is a Title, Really? and Designing a Portfolio Life — plus the full Next Decade archive.
See the workshops →Honest self-assessments to clarify your priorities, strengths and possible directions. Start with What kind of work do I want now?
Try the Compass →A thoughtfully hosted space and a members' directory — meet people exploring similar questions, and talk about what actually matters.
See the community →Small-group programmes like Rewriting the Next Chapter — structure and good company when you want more support.
See the cohorts →Next Decade is just opening its doors, and the first 100 people in are our founding members. Join now and your membership is free for a full year, even once it becomes paid. You also get a real say in what this place becomes.
After your free year, membership is just €6.50 a month or €65 a year, and only if you choose to continue. Founding places are limited to the first 100 members.
Bite-size workshops, honest self-assessments and guided cohorts — do them in your own time, then bring them into the community to talk through.

Hi, I’m Mags Treanor and I’m the founder of Next Decade. I’ve spent years working with people who are very good at what they do, until one day the question changes from “How do I get ahead?” to “What do I actually want next?”
We invest an extraordinary amount of ourselves in our working lives. Work gives us structure, identity, status and, if we’re lucky, a sense of purpose. Then something changes. A career ends, a new opportunity appears, or we simply realise that the life we’ve carefully constructed doesn’t quite fit anymore. And strangely enough, nobody hands us a new script.
I’ve done a bit of rewriting myself, and discovered that some of the most interesting chapters don’t necessarily arrive in the order we’re told to expect.
I created Next Decade for people who are curious about what comes next, and who aren’t particularly interested in being defined by what they’ve already done. It’s a place for fresh perspectives, interesting people, new possibilities and some genuinely worthwhile conversations.
Because staying busy is one thing. Building a life that still feels meaningful, stimulating and relevant is quite another.
